Planning a holiday can sometimes feel a bit stressful. In between choosing a destination, booking the right flights, finding car hire and locating the best hotel, you can feel exhausted before you've even set off.
Which is where Google's new website comes in. The search engine announced today that it was combining all of its travel planning features under a site called Trips, which allows you to book flights, a holiday or even a full holiday from one place.
Trips which lets users plan their holiday by searching for a destination, and then offering flights, hotels, travel guides and packages from one place. And then once you've booked your travels, the Google tool will keep track of your booking receipts and confirmation codes, and outline your itinerary, to make your holiday that little bit easier.
The app will also provide weather reports for your travel dates, log any restaurant reservations you make, and essentially put all the information you need for your trip in one place. Now all you need to do is remember your passport.
Speaking of the new launch, Google commented:
"We’re now rolling this out on desktop as well. You can either go to google.com/travel or search for something like “hotels in Tokyo” or “Vancouver” to find travel information from a variety of sources in one place.”
When you go to google.com/travel, you can now make edits directly to your trips timeline, and in a few weeks you’ll be able to manually add new reservations as well. Recent searches, saved places and flights you’re tracking are added automatically to your trips when you’re signed into your Google Account.
Soon, we’ll add viewed things to do and saved and viewed hotels to your trips."
Consider travel made easier.
