RuPaul's Drag Race UK trailer

More bad news: we still don't have a trailer. But as soon as we do, you'll be able to watch it here.

Back when the UK version of the show was first announced, Damian Kavanagh, Controller BBC Three, added: “Needless to say, we’re delighted that BBC Three will be the home of a new UK version of Drag Race.

“It is one of the biggest entertainment titles in the world and anticipation levels for a UK version have been at feverish levels. With heart, humour and the un-imitable RuPaul, Drag Race is going to take BBC Three to a whole new level.”

A source added to The Sun that the BBC is well chuffed to have the eight-part series for itself: "This is a massive coup for the Beeb as lots of other UK channels wanted this show. It will follow the exact same format as the American version with British twists and some famous guests.

"It will be filmed in London and casting directors will be searching for the best drag artists Britain has to offer - there'll be a huge budget for costumes and production and bosses are hoping that a star is born. It's really exciting for everyone involved and is expected to draw a lot of new fans to the franchise.

"RuPaul has a cult following so it's massive news."

So come on, Britain's best drag queens - we're counting on you to give Jinkx Monsoon, Adore Delano and Jujubee a run for their money.
